Johannesburg, June 25 (RHC) -- The five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters are touring historic places of interest today in the South African province of Gauteng, after visiting the city of Cape Town, where they were welcomed by lawmakers at the national parliament.

The Cuban Five have carried out many activities since they arrived in South Africa last Sunday.

In statements to reporters, Gerardo Hernandez, on behalf of the Five, reiterated Cuba's commitment to support the African country. He also thanked South Africa's support in the ongoing fight against the U.S. economic blockade of Cuba.

The stay of the Cuban Five in South Africa will conclude on July 3rd, and then they will then travel to Namibia and Angola.
