Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez reaffirmed today that attacks on civilian vessels in the Caribbean constitute war crimes and rejected Washington’s threats against Venezuela.
On his social media profile, the top Cuban diplomat stated that the debates in the U.S. Congress regarding whether extrajudicial killings in the Caribbean and the Pacific constitute war crimes are part of the show and farce of U.S. politics.
He pointed out that such policies are more interested in money, power, and the natural resources of others than in human life and justice.
Bruno Rodriguez also emphasized that the threat of military aggression against Venezuela and any country in the region is also an international crime condemned by the UN Charter.
