“Mi Firma para la Patria” / “My Signature for the Homeland” movement continues in support of sovereignty and peace in the nation.

The initiative supports the call made by the president to organizations in Cuba and around the world during the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the proclamation of the socialist character of the Revolution, with the aim of making the truth about Cuba known throughout the world.

It also represents a way of ratifying the declaration issued by the Revolutionary Government on that same date, which expresses the will and resolve of this people to protect their sovereignty, as well as their commitment to peace.

Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and member of the Political Bureau, emphasized the importance of the “My Signature for the Homeland” campaign through his Facebook profile, designed as a demonstration of popular sovereignty in the face of the increase in aggression against the country.

In response to the financial, commercial, and economic blockade imposed by the United States, as well as the smear campaigns, media attacks, and ongoing hybrid warfare, leaders maintain that civil society organizations have promoted this initiative.

“The signature constitutes a tool of political communication that reflects the Cuban people’s commitment to peace and exposes the campaigns that seek to distort their reality,” Morales Ojeda reiterated.

Furthermore, the Revolutionary Government’s declaration was supported this Monday by employees of the Auxiliary Offices of the National Assembly of People’s Power.

Within the “My Signature for the Homeland” movement, they demonstrated their support for the defense of national sovereignty, simultaneously reaffirming the people’s desire for peace.
