Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel declared that the “My Signature for the Homeland” movement is an action of defense against imperial harassment and threats.
“As a free, sovereign nation, and sole master of its destiny, Cuba denounces the attempt at suffocation that has reached its cruelest expression through the genocidal blockade and demands respect for the free choice of our political system.”
Diaz-Canel also affirmed that in this initiative, each signature constitutes a call to the world’s conscience.
Cuba is signing against military aggression and in support of its Revolution. From one end of the country to the other, millions of compatriots will demonstrate, in these days, the sentiment of an entire people who, despite imperial harassment, will not renounce their right to build their own history.
