Frenchman Kylian Mbappé Suffers Injury in Spanish League Match

Havana, April 27 (RHC) – French footballer Kylian Mbappé has suffered an injury to the semitendinosus muscle of his left leg, Real Madrid’s medical services reported today.

Real Madrid and France’s number 10 suffered an injury last Friday in his club’s match against Real Betis on matchday 32 of the Spanish first division (La Liga).

Mbappé had to be substituted in the 81st minute after feeling discomfort in one of his legs.

The striker will miss the league match on matchday 33, when his team will visit the RCDE Stadium to face RCD Espanyol.

With the injury to their main attacking threat, the Madrid-based club suffers another setback in addition to those of midfielder Arda Güler and defender Éder Militão.

Real Madrid are currently in second place in the Spanish league with 74 points, 11 behind Barcelona, ​​who lead the competition with 85 points.
