Havana, December 6 (RHC)-- Radio Havana Cuba officially presented the new 2019 pocket calendar and announced it is ready for distribution. The presentation took place on Thursday at the Casa Museo Oswaldo Guayasamín in Old Havana.
The 2019 calendar features an illustration of the sculpture of the Cuban artist Oscar Luis Gonzalez. Pedro Martinez Pirez, Deputy Director of Radio Havana Cuba, presented the new pocket calendar at the activity. He pointed to the importance of July 6th next year, when the world celebrates the 100th birthday anniversary of the renowned Painter of Ibero-America, Oswaldo Guayasamin.
Thursday's event was organized by the International Cooperation and Cultural Association of Spain and the Casa Museo Oswaldo Guayasamin -- in honor of the Centenary of Guayasamin and the 500th anniversary of Havana, also commemorated next year.
