The Victory Day parade in Moscow, attended by nearly thirty world leaders and other guests, was admirable, synchronized, emotional and a clear demonstration of Russia's power.

The presence of dozens of foreign delegations was a sign of rejection of the West's attempts to isolate Russia over its intervention in the Ukraine conflict.

On the magnificent Red Square, on a cold but not freezing day, comrades-in-arms and relatives of soldiers and officers who fell during the Great Patriotic War joined the rally from the podium.

About 10 thousand soldiers from various branches of the army, navy and air force, admired by Russians, marched on the esplanade.

Everyone emphasized that it was the country that made the greatest sacrifices and efforts to achieve the capitulation of Germany on May 9, 1945.

During the military operations in the Soviet Union alone more than 1,700 cities, 70,000 villages, 32,000 factories were destroyed and almost 27 million people lost their lives.

With its victory over the Nazis in World War II 80 years ago, the Red Army made an enormous contribution to the end of an era of horror, something that Russia reaffirms today.

It does so, as President Vladimir Putin said, because Russia will not accept misrepresentation of the facts, attempts to justify the executioners or slander of the real victors.

Eight decades after the barbarity of Nazism, Russia with its victory parade has confirmed that it will be a barrier to fascism and will reject the negative campaign against everything that comes from the Eurasian nation.

Such countries as China, Belarus, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Brazil, Egypt, Mongolia, Laos, Vietnam and others, whose leaders came to Moscow, did not join this hostility.

The presence of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva, who expressed his goal of expanding trade relations with Russia, from which he imports mainly fertilizers and diesel, was noteworthy.

Also noteworthy was the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping, who in his meeting with Putin underscored the strength of the alliance between the two countries, which are under pressure from the West.

The conversation between the two leaders took place in a unique scenario, since these days Russians honor the memory of their ancestors and remind the new generations of the importance of not forgetting their roots.
