Ankara, October 14 (RHC)-- Turkey has denied claims by U.S. officials that it has agreed to let U.S.-led troops use its bases in the fight against ISIS.

The Barack Obama administration has been pressuring Turkey to take a more active role against ISIS, while Turkey has requested a buffer zone along its border with Syria.

Meanwhile, Turkish warplanes have reportedly bombed Kurdish PKK rebels near the Iraqi border. PKK members have played a key role fighting ISIS in Kobani.
