Cuban President Raúl Castro
Havana, July 20 (RHC)-- President Raúl Castro sent a message of congratulations and solidarity to the government and people of Nicaragua on the 37th anniversary of the Popular Sandinista Revolution.
In the message, the Cuban leader expresses confidence that the Central American country will continue to advance toward more victories, always with Cuba's unconditional support.
Raúl's message was read by First Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel during the main activity to mark the new anniversary on Tuesday, July 19th, of the triumph of the Sandinista Revolution, which put an end to the U.S.-backed Somoza dictatorship in Nicaragua.
