Cuba Gears Up for Participation in World Travel Fair

London, November 5 (RHC-PL) -- Cuba is getting ready to participate in the 37th International Tourism Fair World Travel Market 2016, scheduled for November 7th to the 9th in London, its traditional venue.

The island's delegations will be made up of Ministry of Tourism officials and representatives of local hotel chains. Foreign hotel conglomerates with business in Cuba, like Iberostar, Melia Hotels International, Blue Diamond, Barcelo, Accor, and others will also be on attendance.

Updates will be provided by Cuba on the tourist potential of the destiantions Havana, Varadero, the Cuban keys, Holguin and Santiago de Cuba. The island's stand at the Fair will feature among its attractions the work of cigar roller Jose Castelar Cairo (Cueto), winner of a Guinness record for his rolling the longest cigar in the world.

Cuba stands as the fourth major outbound tourist destination in the UK.
