President of Western Sahara On Official Visit to Cuba

Havana, June 2 (RHC) – President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz kicked off on Monday a two-day official visit to Cuba.

The Western Saharan President will hold meetings with Cuban authorities at the highest level to exchange views on issues of common interest and discuss ways and means to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite the Saharawi Republic and Cuba, according to a source of the presidential delegation.

The President of the Republic is accompanied by a delegation including members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek and Khira Bellahi, Foreign Minister and Minister for Vocational Training, Individuals and Public Function, respectively, as well as the Advisor to the Presidency Abdati Breika and Ambassador to Cuba, Malainine Tghana.

Abdelaziz had attended Sunday the investiture of the new President-elect of El Salvador, Salvador Sanchez Ceren, alongside hundreds of delegations from different countries and organizations.
