Belarusian President Stresses Cooperation with Cuba

Minsk, January 3 (RHC-NNN)-– Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko praised the high level of bilateral dialogue and cooperation with Cuba, in a message of congratulations on the 56th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.

In the message, released by the Belarusian press, Lukashenko stressed the strength and warmth of traditional and friendly Belorrusian-Cuban relations, strengthened with every passing year.

The message was addressed to Cuban President Raul Castro, on the new anniversary of Cuba's National Liberation Day, marked on January 1st.

"It is gratifying to note the activation of political dialogue between our two countries, the mutual support in defense of the national interests and the close cooperation in international organizations," stressed the Belarusian President.

President Lukashenko expressed his hope that bilateral ties will be further expanded and strengthened, particularly at the inter-governmental level, for the benefit of their peoples.
