Havana, November 27 (RHC)-- Representatives from Cuba and the European Union will meet again December 1st and 2nd for the sixth round of bilateral talks towards an agreement on cooperation and political dialogue.

An official note issued by the Cuban Foreign Ministry says that the talks will be held in Brussels, Belgium, presided over by Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Abelardo Moreno and Christian Leffler, Managing Director for the Americas at the European External Action Service.

The ministry notes that the previous rounds of talks were held in Havana and Brussels alternately, always marked by a constructive, respectful spirit.

It recalls also that negotiations between the EU and Cuba began in April 2014, resulting from a decision, adopted by the Council of Ministers of the European External Action Service in February of that same year to invite Cuba to engage in dialogue towards normalized relations.
