Havana, Oct 3 (RHC) Spanish photographer Ángel Marcos will offer a conversation this Friday at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana as the closing of his personal exhibition The Anarchy of Space.

That day, from 11:00 am local time, the Transitional Room of the Universal Art Building of the museum will open its doors to dialogue with the prominent lens artist, who will discuss his work and other topics in the artistic field.

The Anarchy of Space was inaugurated on July 21 and has unpublished photographs, video projections and installations.

During the opening, the creator highlighted that the exhibition is a relationship of affection and emotions for those who live in places of disaster, while his discourse is purely contemporary and practical.

This is the photographer's first individual exhibition at the National Museum of Fine Arts. In previous years he was part of a collective exhibition of Spanish artists and participated in the 7th and 10th editions of the Havana Biennial.

With his art he seeks to make people reflect on globalization, gentrification, the transformations that cities undergo, how people relate to them, and the way they inhabit them.

Ángel Marcos is considered one of the most prestigious photographers in Spain, with exhibitions in important galleries in America and Europe, where his creations are part of private and institutional collections, such as the Reina Sofía Art Center in Madrid. (Source: PL)
