Fraccari sends condolences to Cuban baseball family

Havana, April 29 (RHC)-- The president of the World Baseball-Softball Confederation, Ricardo Fraccari, expressed heartfelt condolences on the death of Ernesto Reynoso, national commissioner of baseball in Cuba.

In a letter addressed to Osvaldo Vento Montiller, head of INDER -- Cuba's sports institute -- Fraccari said that "the Confederation is deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the unexpected death of Ernesto Reynoso."   He also recognized that "during Reynoso's time as commissioner, he played a very important role in the new strategy for the development of baseball on the Island, always acting with great motivation, professionalism and passion for our sport,"

Fraccari agreed in affirming that this is "a great loss for Cuban baseball", and sent his "deepest condolences."

The Italian-born federator asked to extend his most sincere condolences to Reynoso's family and to the entire baseball community in Cuba.
