Havana, January 15 (RHC)-- The Portuarios and Agricultores teams will resume this Sunday at the 'Mártires de Barbados' stadium in Bayamo, capital of the eastern province of Granma, the first game for the scepter of the Elite Cuban Baseball League (LEBC), after being tied at 11 runs.

The day before, the initial challenge had to be postponed due to darkness, after both teams faced each other in a game in which all the pitchers suffered, except for the first reliever of the locals, Kelvis Rodríguez, according to Prensa Latina news agency.

Today's game will begin in the tenth inning with the tie-breaker rule, which will place Roberto Acevedo at second and Rangel Ramos at first, with Lázaro Martínez at bat.

If the game is extended for more innings it will be played until there is a winner, and then today's game will be played on Monday.

For Sunday, the announced starters are Yadián Martínez for the visitors and left-hander Leandro Martínez for the hosts, but everything will depend on what happens in the first game.

The task for Industriales and Mayabeque is still to look for at least one win as visitors in either of the two games.

After that second game, the series will move to San José de las Lajas, capital of the western province of Mayabeque, where games 3, 4 and 5 will take place, the latter if necessary.

The winner of this final will be Cuba's representative to the upcoming Caribbean Series, with some reinforcements requested by their mentor.
