Triple tie at the top of Cuban Baseball

Havana, April 28 (ACN) - The victories of Pinar del Río and Santiago de Cuba, together with Artemisa's loss, led to a new triple tie at the top of the 62nd National Baseball Series.

The Vegueros of mentor Alexander Urquiola defeated Artemisa 9x3 supported by their power batting. They hit three home runs, including the tenth of the tournament by Yasser Julio González, who went 4-3 with a double and two towers.

Joan Rojas and Yassiel Ajete also booted the ball.

Meanwhile, the Avispas santiagueras defeated Villa Clara 7x3, solved by Osday Silva's home run, who drove three, which confirmed him as leader in both departments with 11 and 43, respectively.

In other duels, Sancti Spíritus beat La Isla 13x4, Industriales beat Guantánamo (7-3), Las Tunas 10-8 against Camagüey, Holguín defeated 15-8 the monarch exponent Granma and Mayabeque 4-1 against Cienfuegos.
