Goma, August 3 (RHC)-- In Africa, Rwanda has reopened its border with the Democratic Republic of Congo after a brief closure that followed the third death of a patient with the Ebola virus in the Congolese border city of Goma.

Since the latest outbreak began exactly one year ago, the World Health Organization says at least 2,700 people have been infected with Ebola, with more than 1,800 deaths.
