La Paz, July 22 (RHC)-- As the coronavirus pandemic sweeps through Latin America, the situation in Bolivia is extremely precarious.  Media reports say that authorities in two major cities are finding the bodies of suspected victims of COVID-19, many who die in their homes or on the streets.

Police said they have recovered 420 bodies from streets, vehicles and homes in the capital of La Paz, and in Bolivia’s biggest city, Santa Cruz, in the span of five days.  Between 80-90 percent of them are believed to have had the virus.
