Washington, July 23 (RHC)-- The number of U.S. military personnel infected with COVID-19 has topped 20,000, raising growing concerns in Japan, South Korea, Germany and other countries housing U.S. military bases, as well as in the war zones of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.

In Okinawa, Japan, more than 140 Marines have tested positive.  The New York Times reports the infection rate in the services has tripled over the past six weeks.
