Trump pushes ahead with drilling auction in Arctic Wildlife Refuge before Biden becomes president.

Washington, November 18 (RHC)-- The Donald Trump administration is pushing through plans to auction off drilling rights in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge before President-elect Joe Biden takes office in January.

It’s unclear what would happen to any deals made by the Trump administration, since Biden has vowed to block oil exploration in the Alaskan refuge.

The Arctic refuge is extremely rich in biodiversity and has been home to Indigenous peoples for thousands of years.
