La Paz, July 2 (RHC)-- Colombia's Institute for Development and Peace Studies (Indepaz), denounced the murder of another signatory of the 2016 Peace Accord in the corregimiento of La Balsita, belonging to the Antioquian municipality of Dabeiba.

The signatory was identified as Luis Aníbal Martínez Higuita, 41 years old, who worked as a farmer in an associative-productive project, and had been part of the peace process in 2016.

According to Indepaz, Martínez Higuita "advanced his reincorporation process in Santa Lucía, where he was part of the Román Ruiz ETCR located in the municipality of Ituango, Antioquia."

For their part, the authorities of Dabeiba specify that the signatory of the agreement was attacked by hooded men when he was traveling in a bus, along with other people, which was crossing the Urama bridge in the La Garrucha sector at that time.

Upon hearing the news, the senator of the Comunes Party, Omar Restrepo, regretted the fact in his Twitter social network account, and called the armed groups to stop the situation of violence.
