Ramallah, March 3 (RHC)-- Israeli military forces have arrested at least 7,335 Palestinians in the West Bank since the outbreak of relentless Israeli air and ground strikes against the Gaza Strip, which have killed more than 30,000 Palestinians.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club (PPC) said in a statement on Saturday that at least 10 people were arrested in the occupied territory over the past 24 hours.  Israeli military forces raided homes and businesses in different West Bank areas overnight and kidnapped several Palestinians.

According to local sources, Israeli soldiers broke into two print houses in the northern West Bank towns of Jaba’ and Sanur, and confiscated their equipment.  Israeli forces stormed al-Dawha town, located two kilometers southwest of Bethlehem, and abducted a young man from his home.

In the northwestern West Bank city of Qalqilya, Israeli soldiers kidnapped a young man from his home.

Israeli troops also raided several homes in Azzun town, located 9 kilometers east of Qalqilya, and arrested a young man.  Israeli settlers attack Palestinian gatherings in the West Bank, causing injuries

Meanwhile, several Palestinians were injured on Friday as a result of attacks carried out by extremist Jewish settlers against gatherings and properties in several areas of the occupied West Bank.

“Israeli settlers attacked the Arab Mleihat Bedouin gathering, northwest of Ariha city, and raided 12 homes,” Hassan Mleihat, the general supervisor of the al-Baidar organization for defending the rights of Bedouins, said.

Mleihat added that “a group of armed settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, stormed the gathering and raided the homes.”  He indicated that “12 homes were raided and forcibly searched and their contents were vandalized.”

Mleihat pointed out that the population of the gathering is estimated at about 1,200 Palestinians. He said that the settlers “physically assaulted several residents, leading to the injury of at least 5 of them with bruises during the home searches.”

He further noted that the search and assault operations were accompanied by gunfire, tear gas, and assaults on residents.

The Tel Aviv regime has escalated its acts of aggression against Palestinians across the West Bank since October 7th last year, when it began a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Nearly 400 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied territory since then.
