Number of Hotel Rooms Grows at Jardines del Rey

Ciego de Avila, March 8 (RHC-ACN)-- Cuba's Jardines del Rey Tourism Complex has expanded the number of rooms to over 8 thousand to welcome foreign vacationers with the opening of the new Hotel Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo.

Located close to Pilar Beach the Five Star installation initially operated with 425 rooms in the all-inclusive modality.

Bar, pool, restaurant services and possibilities to practice water sports, table games and performances organized by the animation team are some of the attractions offered by the hotel.

The Production Director, Emilio Gonzalez Sori told ACN that the company Camilo Cienfuegos Furniture from Ciego de Avila was in charge of the furniture.

Among these are beds, night tables for breakfast and lobby and restaurants, luggage personnel, minibar-desks and mirror frames, he said.

Jardines del Rey is one of the main tourism destinations on the island while its international airport has 58 weekly flights from Canada who is the main market followed by Russia, Britain, Italy and Argentina.

They are also working on a design of a sales strategy to promote more than just sun and beach to achieve the diversification of its extra-hotel options, highlighting the Jabali Cave, the Dolphin and Cableski recreational complex and the Marlin Marina.
