Havana, December 15 (RHC)-- Cuban Health Inspection Specialists carried out assessments in meat and dairy entities in the department of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, with a view toward exporting these products to the island.
The head of Inspection and Control of the National Service of Agricultural Health and Food Safety, Patrick Nogales, explained that the Cuban mission visited six processing meat processing plants, four pork, beef and poultry refrigeration facilities, sausage and cold meat factories and powdered milk processing plant.
The specialist noted that assessment focused on the production process for refrigerated meat, raw and cooked foods of several Bolivian companies with a view to exporting to Cuba.
