Havana, April 11 (RHC)--In compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Transportation, this Saturday, new regulations for transport come into force as part of the effort that the country is making to face  COVID-19.

Among the services that will be stopped are inter-municipal and rural routes, urban buses, transportation by private vehicles, bicycle taxis, and animal-drawn carts, which will not be allowed to circulate on public roads.

Only cargo vehicles, as well as those authorized to move workers in activities essential to production and services, may transit, after coordination with the relevant authorities.

The regulation of the Ministry of Transport specifies that the vehicles destined to ship supplies and other materials needed for service, will not be allowed to move passengers.
