Cuban and Libyan Foreign Ministers meet at the UN

New York, ep 21 (RHC) Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez met the day before with Libya's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla El Mangoush.

 

Through his Twitter account, the Caribbean head of state said that both parties exchanged on issues of common interest on the bilateral and international agenda.

 

Rodriguez and Najla El Mangoush met within the framework of the high-level segment of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, which will run until September 27.

 

For this year's debate, world leaders will focus their attention on two key issues: the Covid-19 pandemic and climate change, as confirmed by Maldivian diplomat Abdulla Shahid, who is chairing this session committed to promoting actions to recover from the health emergency.
