Havana, Jan 27 (RHC) The control and auditing of resources and transparency in their discussion in each work center and constituency constituted one of the issues analyzed during the governmental visit that began Thursday in Pinar del Rio.

In the ordinary session of the Municipal Assembly of People's Power in Viñales, which Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero attended, the participants insisted on the role of the district delegates and citizen participation in the exercise of people's power.

During the meeting, the plan of the economy and the budget for this year were presented. Marrero emphasized that "even though the financing items are insufficient to eliminate the existing problems and needs, it is also necessary to improve how they are used."

Likewise, he urged that in each place, the inhabitants know what will be done how the economic plan and the budget will reach them to have a more significant impact on the lives of the locals.

According to the Tele Pinar telecenter, the dialogue also focused on transforming the neighborhoods and the need to guarantee to contract to increase food production.
