Cuba celebrates the 24th anniversary of relations with Djibouti

Havana, Nov 21 (RHC) On Monday, the Cuban Foreign Ministry marked the 24th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties with the Republic of Djibouti, a small country located in the so-called Horn of Africa.

The Foreign Ministry recalled the date on its Twitter account, and ratified the willingness of the Cuban side to "continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation that unite us."

Cuba and Djibouti have maintained and expanded collaboration ties, especially with the presence of a medical brigade in that territory, made up of some 80 specialists.

For their part, the authorities of the small state have repeatedly expressed in international forums their support for Cuba in its struggle against the blockade imposed by the United States for more than six decades. (Source: PL)
