Colombian Vice President Francia Marquez

Havana, Feb 10 (RHC) Colombian Vice President Francia Marquez on Friday expressed her strong support for Cuba to be excluded from the unilateral U.S. list of states sponsors of terrorism.

It is not fair that a nation like Cuba, which has so much contributed to peace in Colombia, is included in a list of states sponsor of terrorism”, Francia Márquez posted on Twitter.

On Friday, the Colombian vice president was received by Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa at the Revolution Palace, where both leaders met and shared their willingness to strengthen bilateral relations.

Valdés Mesa expressed his gratitude for the Colombian government´s solidarity with Cuba to call for the lifting of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States.

He also expressed his gratitude for Colombia´s support for Cuba ahead of the deadly Hurricane Ian in the western provinces of the country and the death-dealing fire in Matanzas´ Supertanker Base. (Prensa Latina)
