Cuban Ministry of Tourism confirmed that US hip hop artist Tekashi 6ix9ine had nothing to do with tossing money to a crowd

Havana, Feb 17 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Tourism confirmed Friday that US hip hop artist Tekashi 6ix9ine had nothing to do with tossing money to a crowd from a hotel balcony in Habana.

A press release from the institution specifies that upon learning of the singer's presence at the Iberostar Grand Packard hotel on a private visit to our country, a group of fans crowded in front of the facility to see him, which was taken advantage of by two people who were not related to the rapper to make a provocation.

The 26-year-old New Yorker has a history of handing out $100 bills to fans, but the ministry said that it was two other people, one of them pretending to be Tekashi, who “disrespectfully and with clear intentions of provocation, tossed bills at the people” which caused an incident in this central site, located at the Paseo del Prado in Old Havana.

The note adds that the American singer and composer continues his private visit to the island (Source: Prensa Latina).
