Governments of Cuba and Saudi Arabia advocate strengthening ties

 

Havana, May 24 (RHC) Cuba and Saudi Arabia ratified this Wednesday their will to strengthen political-diplomatic relations and expand economic, trade and cooperation ties between the two countries.

 

According to Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, this provision was reaffirmed during his meeting in Havana with the Deputy Head of Political Affairs of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saud Bin Mohammed Al-Sati.

 

Recently, Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel expressed the will of the Caribbean island to strengthen ties with the country of the Arabian peninsula, in a meeting held with the Minister of Tourism of that Kingdom, Ahmed Aqeel Al Khateeb.

 

Al Khateeb, also president of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Fund for Development, made a brief working visit to Cuba as envoy of the Royal Family, as part of a tour of the Caribbean region. (Source: Prensa Latina)
