Sancti Spíritus, December 30 (RHC) -- This central province of Cuba with advances in some sectors of the economy and services, today sets its steps to generalize experiences, break inertia and eradicate insufficiencies in 2024.

This was the exhortation of Deivy Pérez, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and its first secretary in the territory, in the plenary session of the organization where advances and deficiencies in the year that is ending were evaluated.

In his intervention he called for a more rational use of the budget, to organize the commercialization together with the final destination of the resources and control of the prices, to comply with the order, discipline and exigency, which is the mission of the Party.

He acknowledged that in the province there are signs of recovery in the economy, still far from satisfying the demands of the population and the strategy proposed by the country's leadership.

In this period, she analyzed, despite the restrictions with fuel and energy, there is an overachievement in net sales, profits and commercial production, and the budget closed with a lower deficit than expected.

The member of the Party Central Committee also sent her greetings to the people of El Salvador on the eve of the 65th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

We send, she said, an embrace to our people of Sancti Spiritus with the conviction that united we can move forward and fulfill the dreams, realization and aspirations of Sancti Spiritus in progress, and achieve new victories no matter how difficult the circumstances may be.

May 2024 be a year of success, happiness, health and prosperity for all, he concluded.

The governor of the demarcation, Alexis Lorente, reiterated that the province of Sancti Spíritus is moving forward to make 2024 a year with better results, for which it is vital to implement savings, efficient use of resources and capture all possible income.

In the plenary session, the participants also endorsed the strategy to strengthen the role of the Young Communist League in the present and future of the country, as it is the continuity of the Revolution.

They called for consolidating links with young people and generating spaces for exchange, debates, dialogues and achieving a greater participation of the sector in the economic, social and political processes of the province. (Source:PL)
