Havana, February 13 (RHC) -- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel received on Tuesday the credentials of seven new ambassadors in Havana.

The ceremony took place at the Palace of the Revolution. Accompanying the head of state was Bruno Rodríguez, Cuba's foreign minister.

In its profile on the social network X, the Presidency of the Republic reported that Díaz-Canel welcomed the representatives of Malaysia, Dominica, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, Australia, Oman and Zambia.

The source said that in the dialogue between the Cuban president and foreign minister with the new ambassadors, they were explicitly grateful for the support given to the island in its fight against the blockade imposed by the United States more than 60 years ago.    (Sources: ACN and @PresidenciaCuba)
