National Journalism Symposium concludes in Cuba
Havana, March 30 (RHC) The National Symposium 'Apunto 2024' concluded in the Cuban province of Holguín with the awards of the various categories of the 9th University Journalism Contest.
At the University of that eastern city, students of this career were awarded in flat press, hypermedia, radio and audiovisual, and narrative.
In addition, a research socialization workshop was held in which fourth-year students discussed the professional challenges they will solve in their upcoming diploma thesis work.
Likewise, the hypermedia projects "La wawa" and "We are not mypime" were presented, by second and third year students, aimed at developing means of communication specific to the major and that generate interest among the young public that consumes the social networks.
The event brings together journalism students from all Cuban provinces each year to fraternize and debate current trends and problems in their environment. This year’s edition was dedicated to the challenges of journalism in the face of artificial intelligence. (Source: ACN)
