Le joueur cubain de badminton Osleni Guerrero a battu l'Étasunien Hock Lai Lee et a remporté la médaille d'or au XIXè Tournoi International de badminton du Pérou , qui est disputé au gymnase Manuel Bonilla, de la ville de Lima. Pour arriver à la finale,Osleni, a battu le Français Arnaud Genin,puis le Sri- lankais Dinuka Karunaratna,le Tchèque Jan Frohlich, l'Étasunien Howard Shu,qui a remporté la médaille de bronze. C'est la première victoire de l'année pour le Cubain, qui a débuté 2014 avec une médaille de bronze au Tournoi Giraldilla de La Havane. En 2013, Osleni s'est couronné dans 7 des 11 compétitions auxquelles il a participé.
