Lima, August 2 (RHC) – Living the intensity of the match between Cubans Osleni Guerrero and Leodannis Martinez and Canadians Jason Ho Shue and Nyl Nakamura in the Men´s Doubles Badminton Semi-Finals in the 2019 Pan-Am Games, match that Cubans loss 21-23 and 15-21 after 32 minutes.
“I feel kind of sad, I had a great preparation and I wanted more medals. We knew there was going to be a big rivalry among participants, but we could have done better,” Osleni Guerrero confessed to the press.
“We lost a game that we had managed to overcome, I thought we had it. Winning a medal is always satisfying and I go home knowing that we have to work even harder for obtaining a result,” Leodannis Martinez said during a dialogue with Cuban press members.
