Ramallah, October 27 (RHC)-- Israeli forces have killed two more Palestinians in the occupied West Bank as the death toll of Israeli violence against Palestinians rises. A girl was killed by Israeli forces on Monday at an Israeli checkpoint at the Haram al-Ibrahimi in the city of al-Khalil, also known as Hebron.

The Israeli forces at the checkpoint shot eight bullets at the girl and watched her die. They claimed the girl had made an attempt to stab an Israeli soldier with a knife.

In a separate incident on the same day, Israeli forces shot seven bullets at a Palestinian youth in al-Khalil's al-Corantina square over similar allegations. An eyewitness at the scene said he saw Israeli troops plant a knife under the body of the Palestinian youth who was left lifeless on the street for hours.

The Palestinian Health Ministry says the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces has reached 60 with at least 7,100 people injured since a wave of violence began in early October. During this time at least 10 Israelis have been killed and 130 others injured.

Tensions began when the Israeli forces restricted the entry of some Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque, and further escalated as a result of Israeli settlers' incessant violent conduct against Palestinians, forcing miserable Palestinians to take reprisal action.

International condemnations have poured in over the Israeli crackdown, with many warning that Tel Aviv's provocations could open the door to a new full-fledged Intifida, or uprising, against the Israeli regime.
