La Paz, August 27 (RHC)-- A Cuban delegation of young people participating in the Sao Paulo Forum held in Bolivia denounced Wednesday the U.S. subversive actions against Cuba and the manipulation of Latin American youth to accomplish their objective.

Jose Angel Mauri, head of the International Relations department of the Cuban Young Communist League, told Prensa Latina news agency that the Sixth Youth Meeting held as part of the forum will allow their group to demand the immediate end of such interventionist operations, promoted by the Agency of International Development (USAID).

In his opinion, USAID projects like ZunZuneo are a permanent violation of national sovereignty, because of their interference in the domestic politics of an independent country.

Mauri said that a specific resolution against subversion in Cuba or any other country in the region will be presented. Cuban youth will also demand the release of three remaining Cuban Five imprisoned in the United States since 1998, for preventing terrorist actions organized in south Florida against Cuba.

The Sao Paulo Forum opened yesterday in the Bolivian capital and will end on Friday with a Final Declaration, including the demand to immediately end of the U.S. economic, financial and trade blockade on Cuba, the support to Argentine's cause to recover Malvinas Islands and Bolivia's claim on Chile to have a sovereign access to the sea.
