Cuban artists exhibit their work in Milan

Milan, June 13 (RHC)-- Works by a dozen Cuban artists represent the country at the third edition of the 'International Photo Project 2021', inaugurated over the weekend in the northern Italian city of Milan.

The exhibition also includes 10 Italian photographers and an equal number of Japanese photographers with projects on open themes that, according to organizers, allow for distinguishing lines of possible national trends.

The event, organized by Photo Project Pro, is intended to make a comparison between the poetic manifestations that characterize the works of artists from different countries, who share the same means of expression.

It also features state-of-the-art digital technology for the projection of high definition images in an environment created to offer the audience a complete immersion experience, according to the presentation of the exhibition.

Alain Cabrera is the curator of the Cuban section, made up of photographs by Claudia Corrales, Joyme Cuan, Natasha Forcade, Jordan Issel, Ailen Maleta, Sadiel Mederos, Yuri Obregon, Yanet Oviedo, Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Kmy Ros.

Art critic, curator and photographer Cabrera is a member of the Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) and an editor of Artecubano magazine. He was twice awarded a mention at the 'Guy Perez Cisneros' National Art Critics Award.
