Alexander Abreu and Havana D'Primera

Havana, June 21 (RHC)-- Cuba’s orchestra Havana D'Primera, one of the most popular exponents of danceable music has embarked on a new tour with performances in cities across the United States.

The band leader, singer and trumpet player Alexander Abreu mentioned concerts over the weekend at La Boom, in Queens, New York, and also in New Jersey, celebrating International Father’s Day.

On June 22nd, Alexander Abreu and Havana D’Primera will delight their followers at Conga room in Los Angeles, California, followed by another concert on June 23rd at Roccapulco in San Francisco, also in California.

Founded 15 years ago, Havana D´Primera is an award-winning ensemble, the winners of several Cubadisco prizes, as well as nominations for the coveted Latin Grammies.

Hit tunes include ‘Me dicen Cuba’, ‘Pasaporte’, ‘Rosa la peligrosa’, ‘Más rollo que película’, ‘Azowano’, ‘La bailarina’, ‘El que esté que tumbe’, ‘Energías Oscuras’, ‘Cuando el río suena’, ‘Tres días’ and ‘Se te olvidó quien soy’, among many others.
