Cuba’s National Museum of Fine Arts promotes new photographic exhibition

Havana, Oct 14 (RHC) Cuba’s National Museum of Fine Arts is today promoting a new exhibition under the title Where are you from? Cuba Photography Missions, which will be inaugurated on October 20 at the Universal Art Building.

This is a collective exhibition of documentary photography by European and Cuban artists, sponsored by the University of the Arts (ISA) and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp, Belgium.

It includes Bert Danckaert and Charlotte Lybeer, from Belgium; Simon Roberts, from the United Kingdom, and Ulla Deventer, from Germany. It is also dedicated to Cubans such as Linnet Sánchez, Ricardo Elías and Ossain Raggi.

With the technical assistance of Margarita González, curator of the Museum, the exhibition proposes an approach of all the artists to reality, assuming Cuban contemporaneity as a topic of reflection.

The invitation is in the Temporary Room on the first level of the Universal Art Building, on October 20 at 4 p.m. local time. (Source: PL)
