Cristiano Ronaldo is on top again at Old Trafford

Havana, September 11 (RHC)-- Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford to shine and he did it in a big way, with two goals that backed Manchester United's 4-1 victory over Newcastle today, in an English Premier League match.

The 'Theater of Dreams' was crowded, fans of both teams were even left with the desire to witness the return of the idol, but they still enjoyed it to the fullest, the crack did not disappoint and with his magic brought delirium to the stands.

The first goal came at 45+2, when everything seemed to be ending 0-0, the Portuguese star appeared to collect a rebound inside the area and pushed it into the back of the net.

The 'King' scored on his return, 12 years after his last goal with the Red Devils' jersey, on May 10, 2009 in a derby against City, Ronaldo takes to the record book his 119th goal with that shirt.

However, the play was not over, 'The Theater of Dreams' was open to his art, and he, like any good actor, was again the protagonist in the 62nd minute, when, after a pass from Shaw, he shot hard and low to drill through Freddy Woodman's goal.

The 'Bicho's' drills encouraged his teammates, who sealed the score with goals from Bruno Fernandez at 80' and Jesse Lingard at 92'.   With the victory, 'The Red Devils' take the lead in the Premier League with 10 points, one ahead of champions Manchester City, Brighton and Tottenham, their closest escorts.

City defeated Leicester 1-0 with a goal by Bernardo Silva, while Brighton did the same over Brentford thanks to a goal by Leandro Trossard.  However, the surprise came from Crystal Palace, who beat Tottenham 3-0 and ended Tottenham's unbeaten run.
