Havana, June 1 (ACN)-- Cuban Maykel Massó won the long jump in the traditional athletics meeting Golden Shoes, held in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Massó, bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, won with a mark of 8.14 meters (m), his best result in the current outdoor season.

This Thursday, the Cuban athletes' tour of Europe will continue, when they compete in Montreuil, France, discbola Yaimé Pérez, world champion in Doha 2019, along with the triple jumpers Lázaro Martínez and Andy Hechevarría, as well as Rose Mary Almanza, in the 800 meters flat.
