Cuban president congratulates outstanding wrestler Mijaín López on 40th birthday

Havana, August 20 (RHC)-- Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, sent congratulations to multi-Olympic and world Greco-Roman wrestling champion Mijaín López, on the occasion of celebrating his 40th birthday today.

In his twitter account, the president recalled the date and shared the message dedicated by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder) which recognizes as an honor to applaud the triumphs and share the battles with Mijaín.

"Many congratulations, champion of #Cuba!".

Mijaín López was born in 1982, in Consolación del Sur in the province of Pinar del Río, is a glory of Cuban sport that in his sports career in Greco-Roman wrestling accumulates four Olympic titles, and five world titles, and four times Pan American champion, among other results that made him one of the greatest of all time worldwide in this or any other sport.
