Cuba will be present in two semifinals of the Biarritz 2022 World Absolute Basque Pelota Championship in France.

Havana, October 27 (JIT) - Cuba will be present in two semifinals of the Biarritz 2022 World Absolute Basque Pelota Championship in France.

After the closing of the elimination phase on Wednesday, the Cuban delegation secured the right to fight for medals in women's frontenis and trinquete pairs.

Daniela Darriba and Yasmary Medina, bronze medalists four years ago in the Barcelona 2018 edition, will fight for the pass to the final against the favorite representatives of Mexico.

The Cubans, winners against Argentina and Peru between Monday and Tuesday, could not on Wednesday against the Spanish Agullo and Barona, in a close match concluded 15-9, 13-15 and 7-10.
