Havana, Jun 27 (RHC) - Today, Cuban pitchers Liván Moinelo and Raidel Martínez, both from Pinar del Río, maintained their respective dominance in the 2025 Japanese Professional Baseball League.

Left-hander Moinelo earned his seventh win of the season, allowing just one run and six hits in seven solid innings as part of the SoftBank Hawks' 6-3 victory over the Lotte Marines at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba.

Moinelo, who struck out five opponents and walked three in the game, left his ERA at 1.28, moving him up to second place in that category in the Pacific League.

Raidel Martinez

Meanwhile, no one can hit Raidel's fast pitches in the Central League, and on Friday, he recorded his 25th save of the season.

The tall right-handed reliever struck out the two batters he faced in two-thirds of an inning. The game ended with a 4-0 shutout victory for the Yomiuri Giants over the DeNA Stars at Tokyo Dome.

Raidel maintained his ERA at 0.00 after 30 appearances from the bullpen and consolidated his second place in the Central League's saves department.
