Athens, March 1 (RHC)-- Greek protesters scuffled with police outside a notary office in Athens where electronic auctions of foreclosed properties were expected to take place. The auctions are one of the key conditions of the country's international bailout loan program, which expires this year.
Protesters have repeatedly disrupted the auctions at courts, causing notaries to stay away, and have recently staged demonstrations outside notary offices since the auctions became electronic.
