Cairo, March 25 (RHC)-- An Egyptian court will try another 700 members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood on charges of terrorism and murder. The announcement was made one day after 528 other members of the Islamist political group were sentenced to death, according to press reports from Cairo.

The new trial against Muslim Brotherhood's supreme guide Mohamed Badie and several other top leaders of the political organization, will take place in the southern city of Minya. It is seen as a new offensive by Egypt's interim government against the Muslim Brotherhood Alliance, which was declared illegal last September and included in a list of terrorist groups.
