Vaccines increase in the United States

Washington, May 24 (RHC)-- In the U.S., the seven-day rolling average of daily coronavirus cases has fallen below 30,000 for the first time since last June, with daily deaths also at a similar level to last summer.

Hospitalizations are also down considerably.  At least eight states — Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Vermont and Hawaii — have now given at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose to 70% of their adult population.

And in New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced that schools will open in full in September with no remote option.
